screw compressor with liquid injection
Pekarev V.I.
The article presents the results of a theoretical experiment to determine the point of injection of the liquid working substance in the screw compressor using a mathematical model. Calculations have shown that the most effective positioning the injection point closer to a window injection. To determine the combined effect of liquid injection , was tasked to see how dependent compression work under different operating conditions of the compressor. The amount of liquid while in all cases the same . Injection occurred singly and instantaneously through one point on the rotation angles of the drive shaft relative to the closing of the suction box . The experiment was performed for Boiling 0 , -10, -20, -30 º C and condensing temperatures of 25 and 40 º C. Calculations showed that in all modes of compression produces an increase from 2 to 8 %. Line changes percent increase work clearly shows the reduction of the compression work at the location of injection sites closer to the window injection . Experiments have confirmed that the work of the compressor is increased by injecting the liquid working substance , but this method of cooling of the compressor can be treated with a deficiency of cooling water. The paper also examines the impact of the working properties of substances on the efficiency of the compressor in the injection fluid.
