the effective characteristics of layered media
Starkov A.S., Bagautdinova A.
Layered system containing a number of materials which exhibit different thermophysical, electric, magnetic, and elastic properties can be replaced by a single layer with some effective characteristics. For calculation of these characteristics the matrix operator method is used. As an example of the model applicability, we have considered effective thermal properties of the system of plane-parallel and cylindrical layers.
