Currently, air conditioning split-systems are widespread. They are the topic discussed in the presented article. Air conditioning is divided into 3 types: domestic, industrial and semi-industrial. They can be divided by appearance and performance into four main groups: wall, wall-ceiling, ducting and cassette. Air conditioners of all types have the same internal structure. The main nodes and their purpose is described in detail in the presented article. The main task of an air conditioning split-system is the creation of optimal climatic conditions for human life. Air conditioning can operate in one of the modes to accomplish this goal: cooling or heating the room . The processes that define these modes are described in detail in the article.
