The article deals with mathematical modeling of energy efficiency modes of confunction of local and central air conditioning systems. Using ideal models of these systems. Energy efficiency of modes is evaluated in terms of the costs of consumed heat, cold, air and water on treatment of air with steam and water. The equipment was selected as a local system, named for the function that it performs, namely - air cooler. The principle was set out on which based control algorithm these systems. The article shows that their modes of operation depend on the accepted setting performance of air cooler and the temperature limits on the wet bulb temperature adiabatically humidified air in the central system. Three modes of operation in the air cooler were allocated, namely with a minimum of variable and maximum cooling efficiency. The article also determined the conditions in which the work of the air cooler is not required, and central system functions independently. The switch-on time of air cooler is determined, also its current performance in each design moment when it changes the parameters of external air. For each mode of the air cooler was determined their estimated climate zones for which designed mathematical models of confunction modes of central and local systems. Article material is based on the work of Professor A.A. Rymkevich.
