Kirillov V. V., Sivatchyov A.E.
A concept for systematic scientific approach to select coolants was proposed, molecular interaction in solutions being used to model their optimal choice with factors and parameters of optimization interconnected. It was shown both theoretically and experimentally that the electrolytic propylene glycol coolants exceeded nonelectrolytic ones currently used by a number of physical, chemical, thermophysical and service properties (viscosity, freezing temperature, corrosiveness and heattransfer coefficient).
