Kirillov V. V., Eglit A. Yu.
The article is devoted to the problem of increasing service life of the refrigerating equipment for food industry and economic savings during its operation. This may be achieved by using refrigerants with low corrosivity. It is offered to use water-propylene glycol electrolyte (VPGE) solutions , which are selected based on the account of physical and chemical processes occurring in solution. Corrosive effect on VPGE solution metal is greatly reduced compared with water and salt and aqueous-organic refrigerants, so the usage of water and propylene glycol electrolyte solutions increases the service life of the equipment. Key words: corrosion, refrigerating equipment, refrigerant, advantages of electrolyte refrigerants.
