Realities of the present in the field of the climatic units, established in Russia, is use of central air-conditioning systems of foreign manufacture. Thus terms in foreign engineering specifications not always correspond to the Russian norms. One of such terms is the established capacity. As shows experiment, its choice for the climatic equipment often causes difficulties in technical specialists. In article the approach to well-founded definition of this size for systems of class VRF (“Variable Refrigerant Flow”) is discussed.
